Experience

Overview

Guidepost performed a global assessment of Apache Corporation’s security and incident management program. The planning process identified the need for a common security system platform throughout Apache’s facilities in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Australia, Egypt and the United Kingdom. Guidepost provided security systems design, specification, and award of security system improvements, as well as provisioning of the Apache Incident Management (AIM) Center at its headquarters. The Guidepost team was also engaged to provide low voltage design services including security, telecommunications, and audiovisual systems.

Guidepost Solutions

Guidepost provided assessment services and security design including access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems. The Guidepost team also delivered a $3 million audiovisual system design consisting of presentation systems, electronic white boards, videoconferencing, and touch panel systems for Apache’s conference rooms, training rooms, board room, visualization rooms, and emergency operations center. The team also designed renovations for all telecommunication rooms, equipment rooms, horizontal cable infrastructure, backbone fiber systems, WAN, and equipment racks and patch panels.
