Experience

Utilizing funding obtained from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), the largest transportation network in North America, Guidepost Solutions performed assessments and implemented physical and structural security enhancements at two key transportation hubs in New York. This program involved the identification of threats, risks and vulnerabilities and the identification/implementation of mitigation measures to address these issues.

Our team performed multiple engagements for the project including security consulting and design services. Our first task order involved conducting site surveys, identifying threats, and preparing the final threat, vulnerability and risk report for MTA’s landmark properties. In addition, we developed a threat, risk and vulnerability report and completed an access control and video surveillance system design for the Mott Haven Bus Terminal. Lastly, our team identified specific threats, developed attack scenarios and quantified mitigation measures for the Triborough Bridge.
