Tim Olson is a senior project manager with more than 25 years of experience designing fire alarm systems and managing fire alarm and fire suppression system projects. He has completed numerous fire alarm design projects in existing buildings and new construction. His experience managing fire alarm projects includes high-rise buildings, multi-building campus systems, medical facilities, residential buildings, educational campus facilities, and shopping malls.
Mr. Olson is responsible for assisting our clients and project teams with project scope definition, fire alarm system designs including system layout, specifications and implementation planning, and cost estimates. He develops and manages customer relationships as well as interfaces with architects, engineers, and external project teams.
Mr. Olson is highly skilled at managing projects from planning, scheduling, labor resource allocation, management and logistics, and multi-disciplinary coordination including the Authorities Having Jurisdiction. He develops positive client relationships by providing excellent work product and thorough, proactive communication and follow-up.
Prior to joining Guidepost Solutions, Mr. Olson was a consultant at Rolf Jensen and Associates, and most recently a project manager for Sabah International.
