Michael Reyes is a regional vice president in the Dallas office of Guidepost Solutions. He is an experienced security professional with extensive training and background in all areas of physical security, personal protection, and public safety.
As a security consultant, Mr. Reyes has experience conducting site assessments, developing security plans for large scale events, providing site management for major events and investigations, developing standards and protocols, providing training in school safety and security, and providing subject matter expertise related to firearms and explosives. He has completed over 5,000 hours of training in all areas of law enforcement and investigations.
Prior to joining Guidepost Solutions, Mr. Reyes served as the construction security manager for federal agency building projects. His responsibilities included managing the development of multiple field offices at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). He provided expertise regarding security plans and protocols during construction and developed plans and procedures for corrective measures related to any physical security issues at ATF offices nationwide.
