Regional Vice President

Michael Reyes serves as the Regional Vice President in the Dallas office of Guidepost Solutions. He is a proven leader with the ability to manage large-scale projects and teams. Mr. Reyes is an experienced security and investigations professional with extensive training and background in all areas of physical security, personal protection, and public safety.

As a security consultant, Mr. Reyes has conducted site assessments in both the public and private sectors.  He has developed security plans for large scale events, provided site management for major events, developed standards and protocols, and provided training in school safety and security. More specifically, Mr. Reyes was responsible for managing the construction of multiple field offices at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). There, he provided expertise regarding security plans and protocols during construction and developed plans and procedures for corrective measures related to physical security issues at ATF offices nationwide.

As an investigator, Mr. Reyes has extensive experience conducting investigations of all types. His experience includes investigations involving firearms, explosives, and arson, as well as diversion and personnel investigations.  He has served as a lead investigator for numerous large-scale investigations throughout the United States.  Mr. Reyes also provides subject matter expertise related to firearms and explosives.

Mr. Reyes retired from the U.S. Department of Justice, ATF following a 28-year career.  He has completed over 5,000 hours of training in all areas of security, investigations, and law enforcement.
