Lina Maria Delgado is experienced in providing investigative support for a variety of clients and case situations. She has been involved in corporate investigations, litigation support, due diligence, background checks, risk assessments, security logistics for executives, compliance and analysis of documents and intelligence for litigation support in multi-jurisdictional cases from internationally recognized law firms.
Ms. Delgado was recently the associate director at Custom Information Services, Inc., a specialized investigations firm focused on the Americas, with offices in Miami, Bogota, and Los Angeles.
Prior to arriving at Custom Information Services, Ms. Delgado worked as an advisor for Asia Pacific and Oceania at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia. In this role, she provided support and promoted strategies for the strengthening of the diplomatic relations between Colombia, Southeast Asia and Oceania countries. Leading the coordination of meetings and serving as a liaison between the governments, Ministries and competent agencies in the development of mining and energy projects as well as education initiatives, post-conflict cooperation, and trade negotiations. She was also responsible for preparing comprehensive written reports for the President and Minister`s high profile bilateral meetings and involved in the production of documents and materials presented by Colombia in their application to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Ms. Delgado also worked at the Bogotá office of Control Risks where she worked on corporate investigations and was involved in complex due diligence investigations and background checks in South and Central America. She was also involved on a major fraud investigation matter regarding a cartel composed of several consumer goods companies.
