Developed Security Standard Operating Procedures that were deployed world-wide for a major insurance firm. Included with the standard procedures were data center specific procedures designed to complement the added security measures necessary at a data center facility. Included with these procedures were ten different operational documents, forms and logs. To complement these procedures the Security Officer Basic Training, Security Officer Advanced Training and Security Supervisor Training manuals and examinations were developed and deployed along with a comprehensive training schedule and tracking spreadsheet.

Created site security assessment tools to assist regional security managers conducting site security surveys and audits. These tools included a Site Security Assessment manual, Site Security Checklist and Data Center Security Checklist. These tools were used to assess office sites and data centers that were ten thousand square feet and above. From the data obtained a Site Security Assessment report was generated that detailed security findings that would be tracked for remediation. Additionally created the Small Office Matrix tool to assess offices smaller than ten thousand square feet. This tool was designed to utilize a scoring system that corresponded with a list of protective measures that were recommended according to score range. This proved to be a very useful tool for smaller sites to self-assess.

Successfully negotiated a national contract with major security guard-force provider. Mark-up rates and benefit costs were successfully negotiated and agreed nation-wide. The successful consolidation of multiple security provider contracts proved to be a considerable savings to the client company. Additionally initiated a global security provider survey project to ensure bill rates were commensurate to appropriate levels in individual countries. This determined that a change abroad would not realize a savings in cost to the client company but did identify and organize all guard-force contacts into one master list for future engagement.
