Local Not-For-Profit Gets Upgraded Security System Lead By Guidepost Solutions
September 9, 2016 – Dallas, TX – Guidepost Solutions, a global leader in investigations, compliance and security, recently assisted City House (www.cityhouse.org), an emergency, not-for-profit children’s shelter, with assessing its current security system and facilitating donations to provide and install an upgraded system.
“We are very happy to have been able to help City House advance their mission to provide a safe haven for at-risk children and young adults,” stated Regional Vice President, Patrick Markham. “This was made possible through the numerous extraordinary relationships we have with various security system manufacturers and integrators.”
After evaluating City House’s current systems, Markham worked closely with S2 Security, Advanced Connections Inc., and Axis Communications to secure vital components including a camera recorder and video encoders. Advanced Connections negotiated with S2 Security to donate the camera recorder along with a video system to process, record and store video. Axis Communications donated the necessary video encoders to convert the camera signals from analog to digital so they can be used with the new video system.
Rob Bullock, a senior support analyst at Guidepost Solutions, volunteered his time and talent by installing the equipment and programming the camera system to operate from various workstations. In addition, Guidepost Solutions generously donated the remaining balance of the costs associated with the camera licenses.
