New York, NY- May 15, 2014– Guidepost Solutions, LLC announced today the appointment of Matthew V. Wharton as president of its Technology Design Consulting practice, an innovative consulting service that specializes in helping global organizations assess and address their security and safety needs. Wharton brings more than 30 years of security industry knowledge and business acumen to the Guidepost Solutions team.

Wharton joined the firm’s predecessor in 2002 and founded its Technology Design Consulting practice. He was instrumental in leading its growth to its current market leadership position. Throughout his extensive career in the security business, Wharton has successfully owned or managed several consulting and systems integration firms. He has been a member of ASIS International since 1986.
