Operations Team


Jessica A. Jane
Vice President, Human Resources and Administration

Jessica A. Jane is vice president of human resources and administration and serves as a strategic leader for Guidepost Solutions. She directs program development for all people functions. With more than 15 years of human resources and operations management experience, Ms. Jane oversees the company’s human resources, payroll and administration functions. She brings a critical perspective to the company; focusing on how business and human resource plans impact people and operations. Ms. Jane works closely with other key functional leaders within legal, compliance, finance and accounting, information technology and marketing. Her role has contributed to the implementation of best practices and programs in employee relations, performance management, talent management, organizational and employee development, and human resource information systems.

Ms. Jane joined Guidepost Solutions via its predecessors, SafirRosetti and Global Options. At Global Options, she worked closely with key stakeholders through several acquisitions, integrations, and process re-engineering within human resources, accounting, information technology, office administration, production, and consulting. Ms. Jane played a key role in the transformation of the company, now Guidepost Solutions, into a global organization.

Prior to SafirRosetti, Ms. Jane worked in customer relations, human resources and operations management positions. She held these positions within a variety of industries; including, professional services, software and technology-focused media at companies such as Extricity Software, Peregrine Systems and Computerworld, Inc.

Ms. Jane enjoys giving back to the community. She is a passionate and active participant in the All Stars Program, a national non-profit organization that provides innovative inner-city youth development programs. Each summer, as a key representative for Guidepost Solutions, Ms. Jane serves as a sponsor for the Development for School Youth (DSY) internship program; focusing on students age 16 to 21. She also is a member of the DSY internship leadership committee and serves as a panelist helping to lead discussions aimed at attracting new partners and guiding supervisors from other companies around the Bay Area. Ms. Jane’s participation in this program has helped students succeed in their career growth and development.

Ms. Jane graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. In addition, she is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA), and the California Chamber of Commerce.


Tammy Mangan
Vice President, Marketing

Tammy Mangan leads the marketing and communications team at Guidepost Solutions. She brings executive level experience driving strategy and directing business development, marketing and communications initiatives, as well as building high performance, data-driven marketing teams.

Ms. Mangan most recently served as the chief marketing officer at Cole Schotz where she is credited with initiating practice group strategic planning, the roll out of a cloud-based sales pipeline software platform and launching the firm’s Cannabis Law Group. Previously, she played a leadership role in branding one of the largest intellectual property firms in the United States, Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox. There she built the marketing, communications and business development programs and infrastructure.

Known as an innovator, Ms. Mangan has also driven the creative process for an animated short aimed at recruits, developed an award-winning business development training program for attorneys, and led her teams to win numerous awards from the Legal Marketing Association, including top honors in the practice development and website categories.  She is an accomplished author and speaker, and served as co-executive editor of Strategies, the Journal of Legal Marketing.

Ms. Mangan earned her bachelor’s degree in international studies magna cum laude from Trinity College.


Matt Peters
Vice President, Business Development Security & Technology Consulting

Matt Peters is an accomplished security management professional with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors.  In his role at Guidepost, he works closely with ultra-high net worth individuals and enterprise clients to develop risk mitigation and security strategies.

Matt’s law enforcement career culminated with a 5 year assignment to the prestigious FBI/NYPD Joint Terrorism Task Force in New York City. He directed a group of over 125 senior investigators handling critical threats, terrorism financing and cybersecurity on an international basis.  Other assignments within the NYPD involved significant time spent within the narcotics division and various special operations teams.

Upon retiring from the NYPD, Matt was a founder and equity partner in the Paladin Center, a nationally recognized homeland security training center, which catered to elite units within the Department of Defense and regional law enforcement agencies.  He then went on to manage the regional office for a large security provider, where he had full P&L responsibility for a  720-member guard force in the New York Tri-State area.  Immediately preceding his work with Guidepost Solutions, Matt was the vice president of business development for a well-known firm specializing in executive protection.  In this role, he crafted customized security programs for clients and established protective assignments throughout the world.


Chapman_webJoseph Chapman
Senior Accounting Manager

Joseph Chapman has more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience within a variety of industries including finance, media, technology, and consulting. He joined Guidepost Solutions’ predecessor in 2005 and currently oversees the company’s day-to-day accounting department operations throughout all of its regional offices.

Mr. Chapman has an extensive background with planning and analysis activities, financial reporting and acquisition integrations. Prior to joining Guidepost Solutions, he was the budgeting and reporting manager for a subsidiary of Vivendi Universal. Mr. Chapman spent more than 13 years with Charles Schwab in a variety of finance and accounting roles, which included the financial planning and analysis function for the firm’s retail marketing division. He also served as a financial consultant for Silicon Valley technology companies.

Mr. Chapman received a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Ohio University.
