Guidepost Solutions was awarded the security consulting services contract which entailed the renovation and tenant improvement of 354,000 square feet of more than 17 stories of office space to accommodate approximately 900 employees. As part of the project, the team is completing the following tasks: designing access control, alarm monitoring, and video surveillance systems; assisting the entity with defining cost, performance requirements, and the design of a new global security operations center; and updating the enterprise security standards. When complete, its global security operations center will receive notification from sites of security events, manage the company’s cardholder database, integrate video images with alarm events, and archive incidents to enable adequate post-incident investigations. Additionally, our team surveyed the exterior of the building to assess threats and risks of the site in order to integrate CPTED elements into the security system.
