Angela Osborne CPP, PSP, PCI

Angela J. Osborne, PCI, PSP, CPP specializes in emergency management planning, security risk assessments, and physical security assessments. She has worked with clients in diverse sectors, including education, government, healthcare, legal, energy, manufacturing, and commercial real-estate. In 2019, Ms. Osborne led a multi-disciplined team to complete physical security assessments across 10 criminal court buildings for Cook County in the Chicago-area through a U.S. Department of Homeland Security Urban Areas Security Initiative Program grant. Her notable clients include M&T Bank Stadium (home of the Baltimore Ravens), multinational alcoholic beverages company Diageo, and the Chicago Public Schools.

Ms. Osborne previously worked as a senior analyst at Interos Solutions, supporting clients including the U.S. Department of Commerce, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and General Services Administration. At the Department of Commerce, she helped establish the Supply Chain Risk Management Program in the Office of Cyber Security and evaluated information and communications technology products and software. She led a team of analysts and conducted over 100 risk assessments during her time with Interos.

Ms. Osborne is a past member of the ASIS International Strategic Planning Committee and current Member of the ASIS International Professional Standards Board (PSB), an ANSI and ISO standards developing organization, representing ASIS’s 33,000 members.  She is an accomplished speaker and published writer and has presented at ASIS Annual and International (now the Global Security Exchange (GSX)) conferences virtually (2020) and in Chicago, (2019), Las Vegas (2018), Dallas (2017), The Hague (2013), and Dubai (2013), as well as ISC West in Las Vegas (2019), ISC East (2018, 2019), Certified InfoSec Conference (2018), and ASIS Leadership Conference (2019, 2020). She spoke on her work with Willis Tower’s security program at ISC West in 2020. In 2019, she published, “How Chicago’s Willis Tower is Renovating Security” in Security Management.

Ms. Osborne has also briefed U.S. House of Representatives staff on physical security in the aftermath of the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol and served as a Guest Lecturer for Georgetown University’s Security Studies Program and a Consultant Mentor for Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service Consulting Day.
